The Creekside Event Barn is one of my favorite venues in all of Nebraska to photograph a wedding. The Pioneer Event Barn has become a close second. After becoming friends with owner Jordan Schaefer I decided to create some special wedding photography packages just for Roca couples.
No matter which option you decide will work best for you, each Roca Package offers couples experienced, high-end wedding photography at a more affordable rate than standard Studio Orange options.

In a word? Experience.
I photographed one of the first weddings at the Creekside Event Barn when they opened in 2016, and I've photographed multiple weddings out on the farm every year since.
I was there when the Pioneer Barn was built from the ground up as a second venue. I was there when the area at the back of the farm was converted into a secluded ceremony site (and a very cool spot for photos). I know all of the staff and how to make your timeline work to maximize the time for photos without throwing the rest of the wedding schedule off.
In short, not only do I offer you a creative and fun wedding photography experience, but my familiarity with the farm and staff can help to make your day run more smoothly and stress free.
ROCA PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES FAQ
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ROCA PACKAGES?
The essential difference between the Roca photography package and the Basic Roca is that the Roca package comes with two photographers on your wedding day (myself and a second photographer).
For the Mini-Roca package, you're getting the same high quality professional wedding photography, but just with less coverage for the day.
HOW DO THE ROCA PACKAGES DIFFER FROM STANDARD STUDIO ORANGE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES?
Included in the Roca and the Basic Roca packages is all-day wedding coverage. Studio Orange typically arrives around 11am to noon (depending on the getting ready timeline) and will remain until the end of your event.
Although the Mini-Roca package is the same price as the Clementine package, the Mini-Roca includes an engagement session, whereas that is an add-on for an additional cost for the Clementine.
CAN YOU GET US SPECIAL ACCESS TO THE FARM FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
The short answer is: it depends.
The owners are willing to grant me permission to photograph on the farm virtually any time I ask. However, because they are a working farm and also often have special construction and improvement projects going on from time to time, access can sometimes be limited.

I'm more than happy to give your recommendations regarding the photography timeline.
Regarding the rest of the day, the Creekside and Pioneer barns each have very talented coordinators that can help you create a stress-free timeline for the rest of the day. I know the coordinators very well and can work with them to communicate any special requests / needs you have for photography that might impact the rest of the timeline so that we're all working together to keep the day running smoothly.
WHAT'S YOUR PLAN FOR BAD WEATHER?
Having a wedding on a farm can be a bit of a gamble where Mother Nature is concerned.
Not only do the barns have back-up plans for poor weather, but I'm also experienced enough and have the necessary equipment to allow me to pivot seamlessly to an indoor ceremony and portraits if it comes to that.
