		<description>It depends on the lens.  I was using an 85mm for these shots and although detached from the camera, I was holding it almost right on the mounting ring in order to get a decent plane of focus.  It just takes a bit of experimentation to get the exact right position for any given lens.</description>

		<description>Very interesting. When you say remove the lens from the camera, are you several inches away or is the lens nearly mounted while still being able to slightly adjust the position of the lens?</description>
