A few things repeatedly catch my eye about Robert's work that really make it stand out.

First, his startling clarity of line in contrast with light. I haven't seen a shot that isn't striking with clear contrast, at times with back-lighting and/or with the purposeful background blurring.

Secondly, his composition is interesting and captures spontaneous moments in a manner which enhances the subject matter without being your standard, boring, "capture people in unflattering, awkward candid" style photography.

And finally, Studio Orange's work is art. Period. When Robert has a rare slice of spare time, 9 Muses Studio hopes to mount a show of his work. But, we understand Studio Orange is in demand. Hey, we can keep keep hoping!

@Lisa: The grass was still really tall when we were there. It's just all yellow. Not a bad look, it's just that we were just looking for more green.

@Daniel: It's definitely worth the drive out there.

@James: Yeah, the only real problem with it is that all the best stuff is a good half-hour hike in.

You know, Wilderness Park is either really great, or just horrible. I'm glad it all worked out in the end though. That ring shot is killer!
